I have to say
I think I’m seeing the appeal of soccer right now. I just got home from watching our 1-1 draw with England with a couple of friends and it was really fun. Plenty of excitement, and it was cool to hear our fans singing “America, America” during the match. I could see myself getting into soccer pretty easily. It’s just a shame that MLS is so awful..

I think my problem is after a while it seems like just running around when in other sports being near the goal means you probably will score. I baseball if a guys at 3rd it’s likely he’ll score, in american football if a teams in the red zone you know they’re likey to score something. Both teams got around the goal and nothing ever happened. Just something to get used to I guess.
My stories a lot like yours only more interesting because it involves robots!

It’s also hard to understand why Britain can score so easily the first 3 minutes and then be totally shut down
You could just tell that the U.S. was hanging on for dear life towards the end of that game.
Besides the late drive that hit the post, they were pretty quiet. But…yeah, that botched play by the goalie was not so good. He was already getting blasted by the English press.
