SB Nation Kansas City is live this morning.
The site will be edited by Joel Thorman, a native Kansas Citian, who you probably know from Arrowhead Pride. It's easier for you to just check out the site than for me to explain it, but basically, it's an extension of the SB Nation model to the regional perspective. Passionate, informed, fan-produced content. The site will feature its own original content and news updates, and will also serve as a hub for what's going on here, AP, Rock Chalk Talk, and Rock M Nation. It won't be a bad place to start your morning, or your lunch break, or whatever your killing-time-on-the-internet routine is.
One of the cool features of this site (which you can also see on the main SBNation.com page) is the story stream concept, which allows you to follow developing stories as they... develop. Again, it's easiest to just point to an example.
To mark the launch of the site, there will be a meet-up Monday night in KC.Here is the info:

Where: 75th Street Brewery, 520 W. 75th Street, Kansas City, MO
