At least we don't suck as badly as the Indians

I remember a certain blogger that thought
The Indians were going to win the division. I don’t want to name names (ahem. Will ahem.)

I know there's alot of twins hate
but they are probably top to bottom, the most complete team in the division. And if they get cliff lee, they will pull away easily. Tigers’ bullpen will crumble eventually, boesch will come back to earth. And the white sox recent streak is a nl fueled farce. Only 2, maybe 3 hitters having good years, and their pitching just can’t quite get it together at the same time. The twins aren’t going anywhere in the playoffs, but I’d be really surprised to see minny not win this crappy division.
If I wasn't a Royals fan
I’d probably either be a Mariners fan or a Twins fan.

I don't get the Twins hate
Sure, they’re a division rival, and they’re from the old AL West, so the Royals have played against them a lot for a long time. But they’re generally a classy organization that puts together decent teams despite the small Twin Cities market. They do a good job developing their own prospects, without huge free agent contracts round their necks. They don’t have any asshole players (cf: Pierzynski, A.J.), and their fans aren’t drunken jerks (cf: Philly, Mets) or arrogant pricks (cf: Boston, Yankees).

![Fresh on the heels of my award-winning 2008 Royals O-Swing Percentage Graph, here is a graph the O-Swing (percentage of pitches swung at outside of the strike zone) for all the teams of the AL Central from 2005-2008 by year, also compared to the MLB average. Remember -- this is for hitters, so lower is better.
(Maybe I [or someone else, of course] will do something like this for pitchers next week).
The results speak for themselvs, I guess, but they are saying all sorts of things. Discuss and enjoy!
