Omaha with a rare loss

DSL rained out. Nice to see Moose with no ill-effects from the time off.

I once had hope...now I have Moore.

Moose didn't miss a beat. he appears to be ready for omaha.

It all happens here. the royals came to play and so did you. more to do than you can shake a foam finger at.

Dwyer Looking Encouraging

I have irrational hope for him.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

He's a pretty good prospect

Your hopes are probably pretty rational.

Good young pitchers usually profile as starters

until they prove they only have 2 good pitches. If Dwyer gets to the point where he’s ready to join the MLB rotation, something tells me there won’t be 5 aces blocking his path. And if there are, you can always trade him.

Or you can keep him in your back pocket for a rainy day

It never hurts to have more than 5 good starters. Ask the Mets last year… even though the argument could be made they didn’t have five to start with…

Coffee. The NEW Performance Enhancing drug for Sport's Writers. Just ask Ken Rosenthal.

Dwyer looked really encouraging from the stat line.

Anyone hear anything from the inside on his performance?
