I know the majority of you are Kansas, K-St or Missouri fans and I'm sorry your teams are going to go the way of BYU. But I find it comical how your schools never had a backbone to stand up to Texas and form a real conference that was united like the Big Ten. Why was Texas getting a bigger share of the pie again? They were the ones who came from the crippled Southwest conference, they were the ones that needed you more than them, they were the ones who hadn't been significant since the 70's and instead of standing of slappin them around your schools created a monster. A monster who with the help of Nebraska might have crippled your schools for quite sometime athletically. KU has basketball tradition so they could offer the Big East something but really what does Missouri and Kansas State offer?
Oh well I'm not a Nebraska fan(actually a HuskerHater) I'm a Hawkeye fan and while I'll enjoy a Husker-Hawkeye rivalry I get more of a kick out of what happened to these schools for not standing up with Nebraska all these years.
What do you guys think of the development?
