What's up with all our OF prospects being a "better fit" on a corner?

For real, Myers, Lough, and now Eibner. It’s always the same line, “Good range, foot speed, plus arm, but I like him better in RF.” They do realize that SOMEONE has to play center, or are they just assuming Willy Taveras has dibs?

They’ve destroyed Lough’s prospect status by not giving him consistent reps in CF. Myers isn’t really an OF, but he’d be a quicker study in the OF if they moved him to CF. And this scouting report on Eibner…

It’s hard for me to believe that Mitch Maier is a better athlete than all these dudes.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the standard line

Some of these guys are young enough that they aren’t fully grown/haven’t put on adult weight yet. So I can see where it’s coming from, but it’s still frustrating to read that about every single prospect that gets drafted.

They've played Lough plenty in CF this year in Omaha he's been replacing Ankiel late in

games as a defensive replacement so they must like his game there a tad.

Well, you know a lot more about the minors than I do

So I’m sure you’re right, but if he’s a real prospect he should be playing everyday, not splitting time with Jai Miller or backing up Rick Ankiel. Am I wrong about that?

DM would never block the real prospects

like how he blocks most of the prospects in Omaha with mediocre old guys in KC or mediocre players in Omaha

Seems like if you aren't super fast

that they assume you won’t be able to stick.

If we will play Rick Ankiel

Lough, Myers, or Eibner all could play there.

Derrick Robinson or Jerrod Dyson might get the spot though.
