Yep. Lamb to AA, of course.

great, we can promote these guys

so they rot in omaha while we bring in garrett atkins and jeff francouer…meanwhile all the other teams in the division (not to mention the league) have young guys up and producing.

BOOM YOSTED!

Too late now

You posted it, this will then probably make it happen. The Jeff Francouer joke was a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Here we go.

You can put it on the board.

Who else would be capable of blocking Moustakas next year?

Ummm

That was a mistake, but heck, Lowell’s gritty enough to mention twice.

Three Years Ago

I was for this, moving Gordon to the OF. Not now, though.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

Fields

Have we heard anything that might indicate the org’s game plan with him?

Costa

Does anyone know the whole story on Costa? Why was he out virtually all of last year and some of this year? I never could find out what his injury was. Is he in the low minors essentially to rehab since he was a former Major Leaguer?

Seems like he has Mike Sweeney Disease

Forget Costa

He’s a 4th outfielder when he’s healthy, and he’s never healthy. He needs to quit, and so does Matt Herges.

Who's Jarrod Dyson?

Obviously not an A prospect, but could he be a useful fourth outfielder?

He's a wheels-first guy that's a solid defender

He has a bat, but it’ll never be major league average. He could be a 4th OF in a pinch, but I might use Lough first.

For the record:

In a series of random comments before the season (in interviews and at “FanFest”), DM made clear that he really likes Dyson, for some reason.

I know that was a while ago, but I thought it was kind of noticeable at the time…
