Royals Score Twice as Many Points, Allow 8 Less Runs Than Last Night and Still Lose by 9

Farnsworth also goes down.  Can't we have anything half way decent.

I guess the Royals are just waiting, like me, to see what the team looks like Sunday.  I could just rant and rave about blowing up the team, but I will just have to wait and see if anyone getz moved.

I am guessing there will be 4 people, including me, at tomorrow's game.

I guess being a Royals fan means...

we can’t have anything nice.

Dayton wants you to know he loves you

It’s not his fault he comes home and abuses you every night. You must have deserved it.

Dayton Moore says he won't make injuries an excuse...

But he’d love to see what this group can do with everyone available.

+1 on the postgame title

I actually did laugh out loud at the “twice as may points”

That's absurd

Takes a lot of stones to say that after getting beat 19-1 to a lineup without an MVP, the best closer in baseball, their starting center fielder, a rookie 3rd baseman, and you have your cy young winner on the mound. It’s lines like that that usually mean the beginning of the end, just like trey started saying this year.

Understandable.

Anyone who has had to watch this team lately has been getting cramps. Or worse.

I'm thinking about attending tomorrow's game

I'll be there tomorrow!

I’ll be the Royals fan next to all the Twins fans. Should be easy to see……

I thought most of the those $%(&^(*

would stay up there once they finally got their outdoor stadium. But I guess they figure the drive is still worth it to come down and rub it in our faces in our own stadium.

I'll be there tomorrow!

Sadly, it will be my first game of the year. Going with the girl down the block- not sad.

Have we seen Marte in a Royals uniform for the last time?

I thought sending Rupe down

As soon as they did was silly.

As a Twins Fan, and Native Midwesterner

I kinda feel bad for you guys. I remember the Twins in the mid to late 90’s, and some of the teams we trudged out on the field. Terry Tiffee at third, and a laundry list of has beens and never will be’s. I have always somewhat liked the Royals, and I guess that if the Twins weren’t in contention, I’d rather see you guys win than any of the other teams in our division. KC fans are generally smarter baseball fans than Cleveland or Chicago, and nicer than Detroit (and Chicago, of course… I HATE THE SOX). Anyway, I hope we win tomorrow, and for your sakes, by a closer score. Peace.

thanks for the good words

and nice work on the moustache citing. As much fun as it is to root against the Twins as a rival, at least one midwestern team actually understands how to play baseball (and run a franchise).

It's great to hear from a Twins fan

I always root for the Twins in the playoffs. The fans are smart, the team is well constructed, and the city is very nice. All of my ill will falls on MLB and the Yankees, ChiSox, and Tigers. There is no reason to feel sorry for us. We do this to ourselves. Shitty management, Shitty ownership. It’s the same thing every year. I, for one, am tired of it, but I love the game of baseball, and this lump of shit is the only team I’ve ever really known. Good luck this year. I hope you guys take the whole damn thing.

Fire Dayton Moore Now!!!!!!!!!

I hope you win by 50

It just puts Dayton Moore that much closer to being out the door. 19-1 could not have escaped Glass’s notice.

I’ll see ya there. Also, I’m bringing some kids with me, so if you show up there will be at least 5 people at the game…

Post headline of the year! Truly funny, Jeff

Got to add:
