I can see this lineup doing some damage
Duensing usually seems like an all-or-nothing guy (could be wrong). I’m never sure what they’ll get from him, but he has his moments. Hopefully Banny has a good day.
Either that or this plan to get him more day starts is going to jinx him and reverse the trend.
"Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic."
After I look
Duensing’s actually had a good season so far. I was just remembering last year.

Honestly, I’d be tempted to plunk Mauer when he steps into the on-deck circle but that’d probably be too obvious.

Here's another depressing thought:
Moore is on record as having said that power is expensive, and we need to win another way considering how big our ballpark is. (I’m paraphrasing, but you get the idea)
Meanwhile, his pitching staff has allowed 118 HRs (counting the two today), while his team has hit only 66. That’s a <52> net HR performance.
I guess pitchers who prevent power are too expensive as well…..

I admit to getting spoiled by the success in the late 70s and early to mid 80s, but its not too much to expect them to at least be competitive.

Its getting to the point where they screw up and it doesn't even make me angry anymore
I’m a lifelong fan but apathy is starting to creep in. Doing nothing and running people like Bannister out there every five days is ridiculous. Moore should be hooked up to some kind of device that gives him a shock if he thinks about doing something stupid. I know the farm system is developing but I’m tired of waiting for next year, every year.
I haven't seriously considered it.
I’m going through a tough time right now with long term unemployment, and having at least something to look forward to every night, frustrating as it is, helps.
