Nevermind the fact that the Yankees liked the idea of Guillen until they saw him actually playing RF, then they wanted nothing to do with him.
Hopefully Kila at DH today. I can deal with Guillen in RF for that. Maier in CF, Gordon in LF.

That is messed up. Blanco sucks. Guillen sucks. Gordon shouldn’t suck, but kind of does. Kila may suck, but give him chance. This team can be hard to root for.

I did want to see Blanco for myself, particularly his defense in CF, and it’s great that Kila is back on the roster. But for God’s sake, get that man some ABs. I don’t care if you have him starting at catcher. Get it done, Yost.

Many managers are loathe to play a player when he is first called up, choosing instead to let him sit a game and take it all in. I can wait until Monday to reserve judgment too, I guess.

According to Nate Bukaty, Kila arrived at the stadium with < 1hr. to go until first pitch.
That may have something to do with it.
But my money is on Yost/Moore just not committing to playing him as much as we’ll want them to.
