When revisited...
Here are the results of a poll that I posted awhile back.
When will the Royals win their 60th game? 5% 1. August 15th 4 votes 21% 2. Sept. 1st 16 votes 44% 3. Sept 15th 33 votes 5% 4. Sept. 30th 4 votes 22% Not this year, Baby.... 17 votes
We now have 30 days to win 12 games to make the results of the above come true. Can the Royals do it? The bigger problem is that we have to win 15 of the remaining 45 games to not have another 100 game losing season. Can we do that? It seems yet again the Royal's fans have been hosted to another weak kneed season of lousy contracts, over aged players, questionable trades, and trusting in a process that is doomed. At least with Pittsburgh they knew enough to bring up the young studs and let them play. As Cub's fans say... "there is always next year."

Can you restructure the
results and their percentage? It’s confusing.

We've moved on, Grudz
It matters not one iota to me if we lose 100 games again or not. (We’re not gonna, given the remaining schedule).
All I watch the games for now is to see how the players who might be part of the future do. That includes Butler, Greinke, Soria, O’Sullivan, Wood, Gordon, Kaaihue, and maybe Getz and Maier.

This team has moved on so many times
we should have circled the globe more than the space station. Besides Greinke, Soria, and Butts, how many of those mention would make the starting 9 of any the teams still in the playoff hunt? This team needs so much to even consider climbing out of the cellar competition that we shouldn’t expect winning movement until 2015 or 16. By the way you forgot Wilson B. and Hochy on your list.
I forgot them on purpose, grudz
Betemit has performed very well – but is most likely a stopgap at 3B until Moose arrives. I suppose he could force his way in to the future, and he would be an acceptable bat bench regardless.
As for Hochevar, I guess I haven’t given up on him – but he has been a below-average pitcher for his entire career, is no longer young, and has been entirely too injury prone for my taste. If the wave of new pitchers aren’t good enough to knock him out of future rotations, we ain’t winning shit regardless of anything else.

I guess I just sorta admitted
that I think this team more than likely needs FOUR new starting pitchers to make the post season.
YIKES.
