I am so so sad

That we have to play decent catchers

You mean POTENTIALLY decent catchers.

We don’t know that they’ll be good, but at least they still have the potential to be.

To the contrary

I assume this devastating news has rocked Dayton’s faith to its core. How can there be a God if He would allow such a tragedy to happen to a man who just loves his kids and wants to play baseball?

Perhaps he would see fit to engage you in a public debate on the religio-philosophic ramifications of Jason Kendall’s rotator cuff injury.

"Never get less than 12 hours sleep. Never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as as city. And never go near a lady who's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick with that, and everything else is cream cheese." -Coach Bobby Finstock

Wonder how long he's needed this?

Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.

Well on the radio..

They were talking about it a little and said that the initial injury happened in July so he’s been playing with it for awhile.

I'm sad to hear that Kendall is hurt.

I don’t wish pain upon anyone. I have always appreciate the fact that he plays hard and likes to go out an play everyday.

All of that being said, I am excited to see some of the options we have at catcher and hopefully one of these guys can take control of the position and be part of the future.

Are they removing grit from his shoulder?

The recovery should take 8-10 months? I bet he’ll be back in 4.

Pena and/or May

Have maybe two months—September and April—to become absolute monsters, because that’s the only way Kendall won’t get 6 starts a week come May 1.

It's all ball bearings these days!
