I’m a Stanford season ticket holder. Several years ago, when we really sucked, we were about to play top five USC. I looked at Gamecast and it said chance of USC winning 100%. I thought to myself, I can take 99, but 100? Anyway that’s the game we won 24-23 as 42 point underdogs! Since then, I’ve never looked at the damn thing.

Kaegel's calling it a 'heart breaker'

I don’t see it that way. It’s not like a fluke bounce or a close play at the plate brought about the end. It was an offense that went to sleep and an extremely poor choice in relievers. That’s maddening, not heart breaking.
