Can I tell an ESPN Gamecast story?
I’m a Stanford season ticket holder. Several years ago, when we really sucked, we were about to play top five USC. I looked at Gamecast and it said chance of USC winning 100%. I thought to myself, I can take 99, but 100? Anyway that’s the game we won 24-23 as 42 point underdogs! Since then, I’ve never looked at the damn thing.

How do you explain a crappy throw like that?
It’s just inexplicable. Friggin Yuni. Awesome dustpan work by Kila.

Gil's back?
Damn I’ve missed a ton. Just two days ago I thought BPJ was playing just because Kendall was given a rare break.

fourth straight Greinke start in extras
last three all ended in 10 innings. So they’ve got to win this in the bottom of the 10th, right?

Detroit's bullpen is decimated, so this portends well for us tomorrow as well.

Chavez was toxic
But the offense was downright pathetic. Without those limp wrists, we never get to that corpse in the bullpen at all.

Kaegel's calling it a 'heart breaker'
I don’t see it that way. It’s not like a fluke bounce or a close play at the plate brought about the end. It was an offense that went to sleep and an extremely poor choice in relievers. That’s maddening, not heart breaking.
