Nice I put together a potential lineups on twitter yesterday but I'll tweak it a tad to even it out
Omaha
C- Pina
1b – C. Robinson
2b- Giavotella
SS – Falu
3B – Moustakas
LF – Lough
CF – Cain
RF – Orlando
DH – Dyson
SP-Duffy
NW Arkansas
C – S. Perez
1b – Hosmer
2b – Navarro or Colon
SS – Colon or Navarro
3b – Romak
LF – Smith
CF – DRobinson
RF – VanStratten
DH – Myers
SP Montgomery or Lamb
originally I had Hos at 1b for Omaha and CRob at DH but that stacked the decks against NW Arkansas

I see Dyson starting somewhere. Maybe Lough to right and Dyson in Left.

There is quite a hidden message in that scheduling isn't there?
Crappy warm up act, then the main event.

I'm not sure
Gathering a big group of critical spirits on a day celebrating the glorious future is a good idea…

Is there a basement at The K that we can all hang out and watch the game from?

With free wi-fi?
The prophecy has been fulfilled.

Cynical thought
Too bad this wasn’t happening prior to the real season starting. I’d rather see them combine the AAA and AA teams, and have them whip up on the major league team, which could easily happen.
"We're gonna win with pitching and defense" General Manager Dayton Moore, circa winter 2009
"Where did all these Indians come from?" General George Armstrong Custer, circa summer 1876
I would expect a large lopsided loss by the Royals.
Moose and Hosmer would take Bruce Chen deep twice a piece.
They do that in the Cardinals org every year.
I saw Pujols hit a bomb in Springfield a couple of years ago that’s still up there somewhere.

The Royals used to midseason in Omaha, IIRC.
I think it stopped because of the threat of injuries, and the threat that Omaha was actually the better team.
Every team
Used to play an exhibition game against their AAA and AA affiliates, usually mid-season, as a “thank you” to the affiliates. I think the union put an end to it.

It's only fitting..
The the Royals have a “Futures Stars” game at the K on April 2nd..
by that time, since we will be out of the pennant race, it’s only fair the Royals give something fitting to the fans.

I bet they sell more tickets
for that game than they will at any regular season game this year!
Nah. Home opener.
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
People ask me what I do in winter when there’s no baseball...Rock Chalk Talk
doubtful the average facebook fan might know who Hosmer and Moustakas are
but they couldn’t tell you many beyond that.

the system isn't THAT GOOD

true but
how much can the “average facebook fan” tell you about the joke of a roster we will be fielding this year, besides would they even be going to any games anyways? anyways, i think this will be hyped up a bunch with “come see the future MLB stars in our minor league system” type stuff
