I must say...

That I am fully on board the Frenchy bandwagon… Perhaps Im just gullible, but his answers on knowing he is flawed just struck me right… Now Im a guy who thinks “yeah he sucks, at least he knows it” Or maybe Im just a full blown gullible

I think it's great that he knows he's flawed

But it is those flaws which keep me off of the Francoeur bandwagon.

Good write-up on the Frenchie interview

I think it important to note that he mentioned he’ll “always be an aggressive hitter,” but that he’d like to be more patient. I’m not sure this will actually translate to the field, but maybe Seitzer will perform some magic.

Should be interesting.

I’m pretty firmly on the side of this being more of a natural skill than something players can learn with awareness. Hopefully Frenchy can change my mind.

And you know what? They weren't even the worst in the underage skank category.

The other “dance” troupe from today, Dynamo I think, was, I thought, so much more disturbing. More make-up, more hair spray, more bootie shakes and grinds. So wildly inappropriate in the under-6 set, and there were their parents (most of the mom’s in matching t-shirts proclaiming “Maddy’s Mom” etc.) in the front row clapping and doing the routine along with them. I found it really disturbing. I kept expecting the cameras from “Tots & Tiaras” to pop out from behind the curtains. Or maybe the cameras from “Punkd.”

Someone needs to be fired for this

Even if tasteful and age appropriate, no one wants to go to Royals Fan Fest and see a little girl dance troupe. And the fact that the performances were clearly objectionable makes it of course much worse.

At the very least

The guy seems like he loves baseball and seems willing to make the most of his situation. Better than a guy that sucks AND is a malcontent. I can’t imagine Dayton would ever bring such a player onto the team though.
