We need steàdy production from the rookies and a couple of starters. But would that get us +3 WAR over Detroit, who led us in the Central by just 3 WAR? If Dayton gets us two guys who can win fourteen games each, instead of going 1-9, I think we could. Hosmer is going to destroy the league next year. We finished tenth in MLB in WAR, with 25.6, directly behind our rivals, the Tigers, with 28.5. Looks good. If we get a couple decent starters.
