Yep.

My mouth wouldn’t stop bleeding, I got dry sockets, and my cheeks were swollen like Satchmo. It was the worst week of my life.

Dry sockets = not cool

While a large part of the blame is mine, after reviewing how to avoid dry sockets it became very apparent that the dentist’s instructions/pamphlet were NOT very clear.

Not really.

I’m 36 and just had all 4 cut out earlier this year. No dry sockets, but it sucked ass.

Don't they normally just let them go if they're still in when people hit 30?

Maybe it’s just a lot more problems typically arise after they’ve been in that long.

Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.

I'm getting mine taken out soon and I'm 35.

They were coming in straight and I had enough room in my mouth, but it turns out my horrible rotting teeth condition extends to my wisdom teeth as well and so even though I wanted to keep them, the dentist said they really need to come out before they get even worse. Sad for me.

I had 6 wisdom teeth out. Yes 6

My advice to anyone whose Dentist says that you need to have your wisdom teeth out because you have cavities in them, is to tell that lazy SOB dentist to fill the cavity. Do not have your wisdom teeth out if you can avoid it. It is a scam by the Dental Community.
