I think it's safe to say the Cards won this game because TLR ran himself out of options and had to let it ride. None of his desperate late-game maneuvers had any effect on the results. LHB's hit LHP's, and he got lucky in key situations. It's baseball. If this was CLE vs SEA on Thursday night in June it would have been unremarkable. It's The World F.
