The tradition is gaining traction.
In other words, we're trying to make this idea gain traction.
The theme of this setlist will be pretty subdued, and for that reason, why not extend it into, perhaps, a full sleep-cycle?
Submit a slow/quiet/chilling/perhaps-long song.
Then, submit an additional song you would want played at your funeral, were you, by gunpoint, forced to pick such a song. I'm serious.
Two songs, the first a low-key one, the second: the song you would want played at your funeral.
You might say, "Hey Crooow, this is no fun."
My response to this would be, "I know."
'Fun' is not what this is about. Oh no. This is about your pathetic world-view and your propensity for sad introspection.
Those times you're living your life to the fullest? Those times you're trying to hit on a chick (or a boy) and your stomach flutters like a pretty, pale moth? Those times you're trying to forget that your dwindling livelihood has become all but rote?
That's not what we're aiming for here.
I want something that curdles your innards; something what crawls up your spine only to slide down with outstretched and clenched talons...or...
