I wanted to share this story because it is my favorite royals story, and if you aren't a royals fan you probably don't care...

I have been a royals fan my whole life (22 years), and moved to Indianapolis at age 11.  Watched every game since, and I used to go to every game when I lived in KC.

The last game before I moved, I had collected everybody's autograph for the 99 Royals.  At the last game, the only autograph I couldn't get was Jeff King's.  The man refused to sign autographs.

I wore a moustache with a poster that said Jeff King, can I please have your autograph?  Johnny Damon saw me on the jumbotron and tapped Jeff, then he came and signed only my ball.
