Just seems like speculation by MLB.com guys
The Royals don’t really have control over what they say, and they simply posted it because its about the Royals.

Doubtful
Dayton is probably, well hopefully, looking for an impact player in return (read: something better than Jonathan Sanchez) and Soria’s value as a player is just not that much more than the cost of his contract. I’d like to wait since we’d probably be selling low right now…
Now go prove me wrong, Dayton!!!

I love...
…puns.
"Sir,--It has been wittily remarked that there are three kinds of falsehood: the first is a 'fib,' the second is a downright lie, and the third and most aggravated is statistics." *The National Observer* (June 13, 1891): p. 93-94.
I guess it might
make sense to deal Soria. I wouldn’t like it, but Holland or Crow could step in as closer or even Broxton if things don’t work out. What they would get in return is the big question. A SP obviously, but that would also mean a prospect being throw in as well. I’d like the Royals to hold on to good organizational players for once and not trade them for garbage…..but I’m not in charge
