Everybody Plays

I don't know how long this will last, but for the moment it looks like the official stats on kcroyals.com are being updated at a same-day rate. As such, I can do this post right now as opposed to waiting until tomorrow morning.

In two games the Royals have played 26 position players and used 14 pitchers.

Star-divide

Impressive. Early Spring Training is like, as they say, Spring Training on steroids. Nobody is hurt, nobody has been sent to the minor league camp, and the teams are in full rest/get everyone playing time mode.

The most obscure to appear thus far? For my money, that's second baseman Lance Zawadzki. Zawadzki is a former Padre system guy who played in 20 games with the big club last year. Never heard of him. Anyway, he's 0-1 with a walk thus far.

Oh, and Moose and Hosmer homered today. Let's all go crazy!

not sure why

but this is the single greatest thing I’ve ever seen. I need to find out how to get it on my phone so I have access to it 24/7. My wife would greatly appreciate my better mood

Consider me gone crazy!!!

There’s something to look forward to after all these years! About a week into the regular season I will re-visit this to make my tears go away. The big league club is going to be awful this year. F U Kyle Davies!!!

Hating Zack Greinke irrationally since 2010.

No Betemit Yet

He came into camp with a bit of an injury, so he’s being held out for a week or so.
