My American buddy Clark and I always go to the Michael Collins alleged Irish pub across from the Sagrada Família here in BCN. This is a ten-year-old tradition, at least. The game starts at midnight and they run the whole thing on British satellite TV This means when you're getting the commercials in the US, Sky TV cuts back to its schmoes in the studio, normally including some Brit who was the punter for Arizona in like '98. About half the time the game sucks and we bail out at 1:30 or 2 AM, but if it's down to the wire, like Giants-Pats, we're there.
I plan to wear my new Royals cap and if anybody asks who I'm rooting for, I'll say "Kansas City." If that person then points out that Kansas City isn't playing, I'll respond, "I'm rooting for them anyway." Everyone will be so full of Guinness, Kilkenny, Harp, and/or Cruzcampo that it won't matter.
