If you're wondering what the heck "Ottoneu" is

just fyi, it’s a different find of fantasy engine now powered by FanGraphs (full disclosure: I write for FanGraphs). Didn’t really know much about it, but we did a staff draft in Arizona this past weekend. I think the league might be publicized to show how dumb guys like me are.

Other people went heavier on the major leagues

Although I thought I did pretty well there, too. I didn’t spend as much on starting pitching. This is a different kind of league than people are used to playing for fantasy (linear weights/FIP, different free agent/arb structure, stuff like that), so we didn’t really know what we were doing.

With Twitter, if you’re using Gmail it should link you up with a lot of people. I would start “following” the people int he BtBS sidebar in the meantime, then you will get “suggestions” for other people to follow. Just take it easy, you don’t want to be as obnoxious as I am to start…

I really like Harper

but Carson Cistulli is a much bigger prospect hound than I, and he got Harper and Trout. So he THINKS his minor leagers are better than mine…

I also got Kipnis and Chisenhall (although the latter was mostly a silly attempt to stick it to Carson, and I now have three 3Bs: Ian Stewart, Moose, and Chisenbutt).
