This could be one of the stupidest questions of all-time here, but what the hell, I'll swallow my pride:
What is the average length, in number of innings, of all MLB games ever played?
I guess you'd count a game in which the home team wins by getting out the visitors with three outs in the top of the 9th an 8.5 inning game.
So...
Is it close to 8.8 innings? 8.9? This is really bugging me...
