Scrub of the Year: 2011 Edition

From what I've heard on talk radio and from friends and family, everyone is absolutely convinced that the downfall of the entire Royals franchise is going to fall on the shoulders of Alex Gordon. I mean, hello? The Alex Gordon domination watch as of March 31st was 0-5 with 3 Ks. If that doesn't reek of scrubyness, I don't know what does. The sooner we all agree that he's of no worth, the sooner we can get on with writing off the season. It's all part of the process after all, right?

In all seriousness (yay, I remembered what sarcasm font is!), I'd say that this weekend has gone well so far. Home opener was disappointing but showed promise in terms of our relief pitching. I was also EXTREMELY pleased by the Hawaiian Punch last night. Really, he deserves some BOD love for that! Or at least an awesome Charlie Sheen mashup JPEG about winning. Someone get on that, my photoshop skills have diminished greatly in the last few years.

I'm pretty sure I just won an award for worst fanpost ever. I'll blame it on how much this site has changed in the last few years :) Someone catch me up on what I missed while I was out!
