Free Game Tonight

According to mlb.com's front page, the Royals game will be the free MLB.TV game tonight. For those of us with the audio package, this is a welcome development.

the last time the royals

were the MLB.TV free game of the day, it was blacked out when I tried to watch it here in KC. So this might only work for the out of market folks…

Yes, mlb.tv is always blacked out in local markets

It’s probably possible to proxy your connection so it looks like it’s from out of state if you’re from one of those dead zones that are considered to be within KC’s local market but are too far from KC to get the television broadcasts…..but if you’re local, just watch on TV.

was the Thursday game where it wasn’t on TV at all.

But someone said either they’re showcasing it for KC, or they’ve forgotten to black em out, because they have been showing Royals game in-market. Who knows how long it will last.
