Did you know that the pride-and-joy of SBNation.com Royals Review is blessed by the voluntary membership of a successful fiction author?
I didn't either.
I was lead to believe, at one point, that his name was/is Mark LaFlamme.

That there above there is the Amazon.com url for ordering the book. Which I did--probably not the most responsible move since I'm unemployed, but still...I think.....I think such a dramatically irresponsible move should convey to you guys the gravity of this situation: I think this is a rare opportunity for us. To eventually pick the brain what cameupwith that which we just pored/are poring over.
I really don't know what to expect. Mark seems like a badass dude when we're all shamelessly lampooning Our Royal Plight, and he certainly knows a thing or three about beisbol. But...
...what does that mean about him as a writer?.
Let's find out.
I'll put up a FanPost as a reminder that the first discussion session is a few days away (Looking at May 27th-ish? That weekend's Sunday at 7pm would be ideal, no?). I say we discuss the first 1/4 or so of the book, or the number of chapters that is closest to 100 pgs.....if that makes sense.
