Royals Take Advantage of Angel Errors, Win 7-3

Quick hits:

  1. Getz had 3 infield hits. He just bought himself another month on the team.
  2. The Royals did get a nice gift in the 3rd with Pineiro's throwing. With 1 out and Getz on 1B, Escobar grounded back to Pineiro and he threw the ball into CF.  The Royals then proceeded to score 5 runs. It might not have been a double play ball, but one less runner would have been on base to score.
  3. Francis pitched like Francis. 2K, 2 BBs over seven innings. When you can't strike any one out, you just have to bow down to the BABIP fairy and hope for the best.
  4. Hosmer is getting his OBP (0.321) raised back up, only 0.001 behind Frenchy's (0.322).  Gods among Titans.
