Well my friends THAT was an interesting series.. Instead of being the "little brother to the west" or " the best AAAA team in MLB" We put up a decent series and came away with a W.
the hangover and price of beer and the seats for that matter was well worth the experience of seeing the royals play and WIN in front of the "best fans in baseball"
I had a few admin noted on Busch that I wanted to share.. now I know my handle is Mas Cervezas and i do live to the name ( in small moderation's) But the cardinals nation "the best fans in baseball" Really made their name stick. I ran into a few cardinals fans post W on friday and they had nothing nice to say about anyone on the Team..nor did they even know who Eric Hosmer was..During the 7th inning stretch I had seen mitchfreakingmaier whom was really close to my seats but the attendant there wouldn't let us talk to each other during this time period. It was really rude but hey I wouldn't expect anything less from St Louis.
I had the chance to see my first Batting practice at Busch. It was really nice and they had a great set up for the Joplin .
Eric Hosmer is the man; i got his attention post BP and asked if he would take a pic with me & the Son of God obliged me .. needles to say i was giddy like a 3 year old school girl...
Also there was Frenchy and ill just say it.. hes a charming SOB! I didnt ask for his picture with me but just for a pic as he was walking into the Dugout and he stopped, smiled and gave the All-American Thumbs up

Even though I had shook the hand of Eric hosmer the evening Post game brought me to the Lumier Casino where I saw the Fox Sports KC crew. So while sitting with me wife and friend i decided to go ask Mr Frank White if he would take a pic with me. Now i wasn't the asshole fan completely drunk interrupting a conversation. i politely waited until He had saw me standing by with my iphone in hand. He turned and smiled and i asked for a picture. He was a really pleasant man. he actually took 2 different one because the 1st one had poor lighiting.
and for the curious types on RR: No there wasn't one SINGLE piece of royals Merchandise. the only thing that came close was a powder blue Herzog Jersey That the 1st 20k fans received..needless to say Ill never wear it BUT I will most certainty keep it.
Now since we are back in the cellar I'm going to drink some more rum while I'm in PUERTO RICO!!
Send a search party for me if i go missing!
