Where's an..

"Sir,--It has been wittily remarked that there are three kinds of falsehood: the first is a 'fib,' the second is a downright lie, and the third and most aggravated is statistics." *The National Observer* (June 13, 1891): p. 93-94.
I'm not willing to automatically dismiss this since it doesn't seem to be complete nonsense
from a scientific standpoint. I find Hamilton’s splits to be interested but I’d be interested in seeing the splits of other blue-eyed players (I have no idea who is and isn’t).

If eye color differences really....

But people in the past have thought that eye color was linked to eyesite.
During the civil war soldiers with grey eyes where singled out on both sides for sniper training.
Even nowadays many literally allusions treat grey and steel blue eyes as being better at seeing fine detail.
"We don’t have guys with a long history of being effective in the seventh and eighth innings."
~Trey Hillman, master of understatements.
Debunk it now

Its too bad Ted Williams isn't around to put an opinion out on this
He was the Christopher Columbus of hitting theories.
I'm trying hard but some of this sabermetrics stuff sounds madeup.
