The 2011 Royals are even worse than their record...

For those that haven't looked at how strange our schedule has been so far:

1. Royals are 23-24 at the K, 10-21 on the road.  That's 16 more home games than road games.  Over 60% of the Royals games have been at home so far.  No other team is close.

2. Royals have played 13 games (6-7) vs. AL East. By far the least in the AL.  Unfortunately the AL East has a combined .541 win %.  Best in baseball.

3. The schedule...uh...evens out...so in the 2nd half we have a lot of road games and AL East games.  No fun.

4. Probably because of that, our rotation, and likelihood we'll get worse at the deadline, BP has our projected record at 66.8 - 95.2.

That projects as the 2nd worst record in baseball ahead of only Houston who they have at 61-101.

The good news? It has only been 5+ years in the GMDM era...so clearly in another 5...
