#Royals put RHP Sean O'Sullivan on 15-day disabled list because of right biceps tendinitis. Recalling RHP Jesse Chavez from Class AAA Omaha.

our bullpen is saved
we’ve promoted the guy who we keep DFAing other relievers to keep him on the 40 man roster.
Plus we keep the 8 man bullpen and the 3 man bench

9 Man Bullpen?
I assume a short rem solution for a few days, or
Adcock may have found his way back into the rotation.
Regardless, Jesse Chavez is a HR machine, and is not an answer to any imaginable problem. I predict he will be immediately inserted into the 7th inning of a tie game.
When can Vin Mazzaro come back?
I suspect he’ll be back soon.

Pitched on Wednesday
He could come back on Monday or Tuesday, so there is that.
I give it a 50/50 on Mazzaro or Adcock. I might just let Nate take the ball, especially if it is a home game.

One day
MLB will put a stop to these BS “injuries”.
And it will be sad day, because its hilarious.

That's what I was thinking
Might as well allow teams to put players on the DL for “extreme suckitis”.

Well, plenty of that goes on, but SOS has been mentioning this bicep tendonitis for over a week
So he’s either genuinely hurt or they really planned this one out.

With SOS
I think some planned “suckitis” is always a pretty safe bet.

Would that mean that
Voldemort would be playing catcher again?
I'm waiting for my wave of talent to arrive.

SOS done...
So is uncle Jesse a starter? Or we still hoping for Chen-master to come back?

Jesse Chavez splits
April: 0 ER in 12 2/3 IP
May: 15 ER in 14 2/3 IP
so we just promoted a guy who gave up 15 runs in relief in a month. A guy with no options. Brilliant

Hey, with no options left
at least this means when he sucks it up at the MLB level it will be his last chance to do so with the Royals.
Because you know some other team will snap him right up off of waivers.

nah
we’ll keep him on the roster for a few weeks too long because DM thinks someone else wants Jesse Chavez. That’s why Chavez survived while we lost Phil Humber and Kanekoa on waivers

Are we sure that Jesse's full name is not
Jesse Chavez-Moore?

Isn't Chavez on the 40 man roster?

Chavez's career HR/9 in the minors this year so far is at least below 1.
This genuinely surprises me.
"That's fine wood from... somewhere."
Still a chance, doesn't sound like Ned's planning on going with Adcock.
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
