I mean, in like rounds 3 and above.

More on Royals second round pick Cameron Gallagher

http://baseballbeginnings.com/2011/01/20/cameron-gallagher-video-2

The first thing is the body. He’s a barrell-chested right-handed hitter who can’t run, which in pro ball, translates to hit or go home. That means the bat has to play at all levels on every step up. He’s got a very quiet set-up, a narrow stance and he likes to remain closed and let his arms guide him. He’s what we call an "armsy" hitter, which is where he gets his power, but it also means he has a long swing. That can be a best friend or a worst enemy at the faster levels of the game and it usually comes down to what kind of aptitude for adjustment the player possesses.

This guy gives us a very balanced stride, just a little back load body shift, lets the arms take his hands where they need to be, and then he finishes with a slight uppercut. He’s geared to pull and as time progressess he’ll need to show he can go to right field enough to be dangerous. He makes hard contact in this round for the most part and I felt he made consistently hard contact in the week long summer look I had.

His secondary tool would be his throwing arm, which is nice to have, but the pro people are going to ask if the bat carries him. Even with a 5 or a 6 throwing arm, a guy like this usually finds his way to first base in the coming years unless he can substantially prove that his athletic actions and footwork carry him behind the plate or at third. Sometimes left or right becomes an option. Time will tell. People will want to see if he can sit in the chair for nine innings, and every catcher in America knows exactly what I just said.

i'm certainly surprised by the pick

seeing the scouting video shows just about everything that report says. beyond perez though, we are thin on catchers. there is perhaps a high chance that perez does not hit well enough to ever contribute to the major league team, and this pick may be a hedge against that. also, the potential move to first base mentioned above would add some depth at a position that doesn’t really need any right now. i’m just puzzled that we didn’t draft a pitcher.

They actually have good players

That end up being FAs that net comp.

However, DJ would have netted us a draft pick – and we dealt him for Mazzaro and Marks. Worth it?

Also, Toronto did something ingenious where they traded for Miguel Olivo, then non-tendered him without him ever playing for them, and somehow netted a draft pick for him.

Tampa Bay also did that with Brad Hawpe – picking him up as a FA, barely playing him, then taking the pick.

Relive Royals History at royalsretro.blogspot.com

They also sign crappy relievers though

There’s nothing stopping us from signing Grant Balfour and getting a comp pick for him.

I almost wish we don’t trade Betemit for the same reason. We need more draft picks.

Don't you have to offer these guys arbitration to get a comp pick?

Another problem is a lot the guys that would have gotten the comp picks were already overpaid, so arbitration would have been way higher than market value.

Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
Rock Chalk Talk

by Warden11 on Jun 7, 2011 1:04 PM EDT up reply actions

Yes, even for guys outside the 6-year window
The team must offer the player arbitration in order to receive compensation. Should a team lose a free agent before the December 7 deadline, they can still offer arbitration to the player to receive the compensation picks. This is why teams usually wait until after December 7 to sign any players – to avoid losing picks.

by RoyalsRetro on Jun 7, 2011 12:53 PM EDT reply actions

Brickhouse is the latest strong-armed pitcher to come out of The Woodlands, which also spawned first-rounders Kyle Drabek (2006) and Jameson Taillon (2010). He won’t go quite as high in the draft, and the Tar Heel State native may not be signable away from a North Carolina scholarship if he doesn’t. Brickhouse will show good stuff at times, but he doesn’t always maintain it past a few innings or throw strikes with it. He has two plus pitches in a 90-93 mph fastball that peaks at 95 and a spike curveball with 11-5 break. The curve sometimes morphs into a slider, and he has the beginnings of a changeup. Six-foot-2 and 190 pounds, he’s not particularly big or athletic. He has effort in his delivery and doesn’t always stay on top of his pitches. If he can develop consistency, Brickhouse might be a No. 3 starter. He also profiles well as a late-inning reliever who could focus on attacking hitters with his fastball and breaking ball. He helped his cause with a strong performance in the Texas 5-A state playoffs, striking out 11, 12 and 13 batters in his three starts.

by deezle on Jun 7, 2011 12:54 PM EDT reply actions

A little odd. He's a "signability" pick, but he's a third-round grade.

Should have looked at him below the third round, if I understand things.

totally

Royals need to take those cases, draft them 1-2 rounds late, but give them slot money for the “intended” round. It’s as simple as that

by AtTheWall on Jun 7, 2011 12:59 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah, unless they LOVE him, but it's hard to see why that would be the case.

He tops out at 94-95 mph, not 99. I suppose the good sign would be that he has four pitches that he works with already.

by SagehenMacGyver47 on Jun 7, 2011 1:01 PM EDT up reply actions

To be fair

It was reported that Jason Adam was high 80’s last spring, and then by instructs he was topping out at 98 with us.

HS pitching velo is fluid and can change with a minor tweak.

by deezle on Jun 7, 2011 1:04 PM EDT up reply actions

not a signability guy

if he’s a tough sign as report states, the royals get a comp pick for a 3rd rounder failing to sign.

I wasn't clear - by "signability" I meant someone who falls because he's difficult to sign

So I would expect him to drop below where he might otherwise have been taken if this weren’t an issue.

From Scout.com:

Bio: Bryan Brickhouse is a 6-2, 190-pound right handed pitcher from The Woodlands (Texas) High School. He is ranked as the No. 7 prospect in Texas by Perfect Game No. 57 nationally in the 2011 class. Baseball America has Brickhouse among the nation’s top 40 prospects. He earned Under Armour All-American honors in 2010.

Scouting Report: Brickhouse is a power pitcher ranging up to 94 miles per hour with his fastball in addition to featuring a slider, curve and changeup. Throwing from a 3/4 angle arm slot, he has a good breaking ball with a lot of bite and his sinking changeup keeps batters off balance. Brickhouse also features a slider with late breaking action that is his go-to pitch for strikeouts.

Coaches Quotes: “Bryan is an outstanding athlete,” said Ron Eastman, the head coach at The Woodlands HS. “I have known him since he was a very young man at seven and he has always been a very talented and very gifted young man. He could have been very good at football and could have been a very good position player in baseball. His athletic skills and ability just have been a real blessing for us.”

“Bryan is real focused and a really strong competitor. We have been very blessed with a good run of talent on the mound here and he has been able to spend the last two years working with Jameson Tallion (the second pick in the 2010 draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates). He has always been a hard worker and has really bought into the hard work approach. When the takes the mound he is all business and is just nails out there for us. Off the field he is a very likable kid with a great sense of humor.”

Brickhouse has a UNC commitment

http://baseballbeginnings.com/2011/02/23/bryan-brickhouse-video

http://baseballbeginnings.com/2010/11/03/bryan-brickhouse-report

STRENGTHS: FB 90-94, comfort zone 91-92, mostly straight with occasional sink and run. Hard slider, 83-85, go-to weapon, hard tilt when stays on top. CB 75-77, shows 12/6 proper rotation when on top.

WEAKNESSES: Needs to stay in mechanics; overthrew instead of letting it come, too many fastballs started up. Correctable mechanical flaws with talent to absorb changes and succeed. Straight CHG 81, lacks feel at this time.

SUMMATION: Strong-bodied young RHS w/chance to become middle-rotation ML starter. Must continue to refine location and repetition. Has the big body and the big arm to get there.

Crawfish boxes

http://www.crawfishboxes.com/2011/5/31/2191670/amateur-draft-profile-bryan-brickhouse-rhp-the-woodlands-hs-tx

According to Baseball America, there are only 10 better prospects in the entire state of Texas than the right-hander for The Woodlands. If you’re keeping track, that means the Highlanders could have two first rounders in consecutive years. How did that team not win the state title last year?

Keith Law listed Brickhouse as the 90th best prospect in the country, because of his potential more than anything. Brickhouse has a lively fastball, but it’s been inconsistent this season. His breaking pitches also need a little work, but scouts can easily project him as a No. 3 starter.

There is also the little matter of the his commitment to UNC. Brickhouse is originally from North Carolina and teams view him with some signability concerns. Seeing as Brickhouse is also not fully formed as a prospect, and many teams will likely be scared off by him.
Floor

If Brickhouse doesn’t show any improvement in his breaking stuff, his floor is a hard-throwing reliever. Notice I didn’t say closer, because it’s not guaranteed that his fastball will hold up in the bullpen or that he’ll be able to have enough stuff down the road to hold down the ninth inning. Add into that the possibility that a hard-throwing high schooler might get injured and his floor is pretty low.
Ceiling

On the other hand, Brickhouse is like a cross between Bud Norris and Mike Foltynewicz. He doesn’t have great size, but he’s also not small. He could definitely slot into the middle of a rotation, a la Jordan Lyles, but with a better fastball. Like Norris, he looks like he’d sit with three pitches in the pros and his success will likely key off his fastball in that regard.

Bryan Brickhouse, P , The Woodlands (The Woodlands, Texas): Brickhouse is a loose lean righty with potential. His command is lacking and doesn’t have the stuff of his former teammate Jameson Taillon. He needs to gain polish but has a good ceiling.

Royals select

RHP Kyle Smith, HS pitcher, West Palm Beach FL

by RoyalsRetro on Jun 7, 2011 1:28 PM EDT reply actions

Smith emerged as a scouts’ favorite in South Florida when he was the top performer in the area this spring as a power pitcher and solid hitter. His future will be on the mound, whether in pro ball or in college at Florida. Smith was a showcase regular the last two years and showed average fastball velocity from a quick-armed, small-framed body. He has pushed that heater up to 95 mph at times this spring, though it still sits 88-92. He has good feel for spinning a breaking ball and has depth and some power on the curveball, which at times gets slurvy. Smith could be a tough sell to crosscheckers because of his size—he’s listed at 6 feet, 180 pounds—but he does other things to endear him to evaluators. He keeps a quick, aggressive tempo, pitches with swagger, competes hard and has excellent baseball instincts. He’s athletic and repeats his compact delivery. Some scouts point to Smith’s family and expect him to get more physical. He could go out in the first three rounds.

by 102win on Jun 7, 2011 1:31 PM EDT reply actions

Two scenarios could happen with Kyle Smith. Either he signs, or he goes to college and racks up an outstanding track record. He’s the advanced type of pitcher that could really pad his resume in college. It’s likely that a team out there is going to be intrigued by his feel for pitching and command, however, and they’ll take him in the top five rounds.

mlbbonusbaby:
Kyle Smith, P , Lake Worth, Fla.: Smith can’t compete with many of the other prep arms with stuff, but he has advanced pitchability. He has a good 3 pitch mix. His fastball is a 88-91 mph offering with some late movement. He has good movement on his changeup as well. His breaking ball gives him a third potential average pitch. He is an athletic guy who should succeed quickly in pro ball if he doesn’t head to Florida.

A lot like 2007 all over again

Only 3 college guys taken in the Top 10, and two of those aren’t in the system anymore (Greg Holland was the other). Of the 7 HS, we got Moose and Duffy, two org. filler relievers, one org. filler infielder, one washout, and one non-sign (who went to college and did nothing). Given prospect success rates, that turned out to be a pretty good strategy. Yay, upside.

Spread open stance, moves to ball through contact, very good bat speed, long pull swing, can whistle the bat head, good hand strength, smooth extension out front, serious power potential. 6.73 runner, playable actions at shortstop but more ideal at third base, has very good arm strength, long overhand release, on line throws, soft hands with side to side agility. Still projectable in all areas. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.

Possibly the biggest surprise of all at that event was lefthander Cesar Ogando, who was draft-eligible last year but passed over. He has been attending a junior college in Puerto Rico since then, but has not played organized baseball of any significance as there are no college baseball programs there. Ogando, who is still 18 years old, flashed a fastball up to 94 mph. While his command and secondary pitches were inconsistent, he showcased the necessary arm strength to be drafted in the first 5-7 rounds.

South County High spent time in the national rankings this year, thanks in large part to righthander Evan Beal, a South Carolina commitment. Beal has an ideal pitcher’s frame at 6-foot-5, 195 pounds. His fastball velocity is below-average now at 85-87 mph, but his projection and ability to spin a breaking ball make scouts think he could take a big step forward. He just hasn’t taken it yet. His breaking ball is a sharp slider.

South County High righthander Evan Beal, meanwhile, was the best prep prospect in northern Virginia, and played an instrumental role in leading his team to a 24-0 record and within reach of a state championship. With significant upside in his 6-foot-5, 200-pound frame, Beal has a solid chance to eclipse the draft position of his brother Jesse, who was a 14th-round pick of the Baltimore Orioles in 2008.

by SagehenMacGyver47 on Jun 7, 2011 3:22 PM EDT up reply actions

from PerfectGame.org
Among those who have significantly enhanced their value are two senior righthanders, Oregon’s Kellen Moen and Oregon State’s James Nygren. Both pitchers came to Oregon with big reputations from junior college, but struggled in 2010 and weren’t even drafted. They’ve been completely different pitchers this season.

Moen, an Alaska native, pitched sparingly a year ago for the Ducks because the team was so backed in quality arms. But Moen’s fastball velocity has been 5-6 mph better this spring, his curve is tighter, and he ended up saving eight games for the Ducks as a valuable arm at the back of the bullpen.

That has a chance to make it is better at this point then possible upside the scouts aren’t excited about. We’re pretty close to the rookie ball roster filler rounds at this point anyway. Plus, unless you draft a lot of college seniors later who want a tiny bonus and a chance to tell their friends they played pro ball later in life, so few guys from Round 25 on actually sign. Might as well get talent when you can in whatever form.

Aaron Brooks
Aaron Brooks is seen here in about December. I’ve seen this guy a few times and this was the best look I’ve seen. Here he was 90-92. In his first start in the spring, he was 86-87. Personally I liked how the arm worked in this look, but I thought it was more labored earlier in the spring. He’ll be a draft out of San Bernardino this year, but what this guy needs most is consistency to climb the ladder and an improved breaking ball. With those two factors more firmly in place, he’s got a shot.

from 2010:

Always on the lookout for pitching, I sought out right-hander Aaron Brooks. He will pitch his way into the 2010 draft. For me, his best weapons are fastball movement and overall command and control of the fastball. He’ll need to develop an out pitch he trusts. My guess is it will be a change-up as a pro. He won’t consistently blow it past guys, but he’s got the ability to work around the plate an awful lot. For me, this would be the kind of guy I would absolutely love to get my hands on as a minor league pitching coordinator. Why? Because I know he won’t get the huge money of a first-rounder, he won’t be rushed, and I’d have time to prepare him. I do know this: you can’t teach fastball movement and fastball command. Those are two building blocks you can’t take away from this guy.

oops, left out this, from baseballbeginnings.com
Aaron Brooks, RHP
6-4, 220
Cal State San Bernardino, CA
Games Seen: 1, Innings: 3

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Medium pro build; wide shoulders and hips, strong thighs.

STRENGTHS: Fastball command and movement. Generally low in zone with FB with sink and glove-side run. FB 89-92 (89-90). Commands FB around plate well; tends not to elevate FB. Stays closed, balanced and lands well, finds extension and downhill.

WEAKNESSES: Lacks power to pitch up in zone with FB. Lacks consistent out pitch. Lacks consistent CB (74-78); below-pro average depth and break. Saw backdoor SL in bullpen, better pitch, did not throw early in game. Better CH in bullpen should be secondary pitch as pro. Would junk the CB and go FB, CH, SL as pro.

SUMMARY: Capability to throw pro-quality FB strikes with movement to both sides of the plate. Will not be a power arm but should have enough extension, downhill, and arm speed to be able to find a little more when it counts. Touch-and-feel right-hander, needs to be groundball and not fly ball pitcher. Would teach this guy a cutter the second he signs the contract. Could develop into innings-eating sinker ball pitcher with best weapons FB movement and command, with secondary weapons being SL and CH. See CH as key for him. Has some work to do but I think has enough arm and athleticism to maximize it. Good organizational sign at the worst, peak role No. 4 ML starter at best.

GRADES (Present/Future):
Fastball 40/50
Curveball 30/40
Slider 30/40
Change-up 40/50
Control 30/60
Command 30/60

Overall Future Potential: 50

Murray profile from 2008, best I could find so far (it's at perfectgame.org)
Matthew Murray is a 2008 RHP with a 6’4’’, 220 lb. frame from Spring City, PA who attends Owen J Roberts HS. He has a big, strong body with power written all over it. Despite his size and strength, Murray’s arm action is loose and fast and he gets good extension out front. He throws from a high 3/4’s to overhand release point and gets good leverage and angle to the plate on his pitches. Murray does have a tendency to rush his big body out in front of his arm at times, in part because he does have a long and deep arm extension in back. Murray’s fastball was 88-92 mph at the showcase with the promise of even more in the future. He threw both a curveball and a slider and had good feel for both pitches and spun them both hard with good breaking action. Murray didn’t throw a change up, although we know he has one. Murray has a power body, a power arm action and the making of some power pitches. Follow him closely.

Starling aside, this draft has been nothing but low upside, signability crap. Its like DM brought Ladnier and Baird back for Old Timers day and let them draft. No upside today.

If Starling busts, this draft may not see a single player make the Major Leagues.

But I think several of our players are going to be tough signs. The SS/3B was a great pick. The HS arms seem like upside picks as well.

I think we are in good shape in LA this year and we went with overslot high upside HS players. Better that then to way way overpay for a single kid like Purke.

While Delaware scouts await the arrival of the May brothers over the next two years, they’ll have to be content this year with a single player who could factor into the early rounds, possibly even the first 20-25 rounds. Milford High outfielder Jerell Allen is this year’s top prospect and has significant upside, but is also extremely raw in his development, which should suppress his overall draft value.

Allen has excellent speed and defensive skills in center field, but will need to make significant strides with the bat to realize his potential. He is a three-time all-state player and was selected the state player of the year this spring.

Allen is also a former all-state wide receiver, but has made it abundantly clear to scouts that he prefers baseball. Only 15 Delaware high-school players have previously been selected in the top 10 rounds of the draft, and Allen has the raw talent to become the 16th.

Schemenauer
6-foot-9 pitchers, especially left handed pitchers don’t come along every day, and when they do, they get noticed. His size is an asset, but like many young players, it took him time to realize how to use it properly. Basketball has helped him to develop his coordination and, as he puts it, "get me out of my clumsy stage." In turn, the progress has translated into better mechanics on the mound.

The recently graduated Hardaway outfielder was selected by the Florida Marlins in the 33rd round of the Major League Baseball draft on Wednesday with the 1,007th overall pick. He joined two other players with local ties selected during the draft’s third and final day.

“As a little kid, you dream about this,” Toney said. “When you’re a kid, you watch and imitate your favorite players. Now I get my chance to make it up through Double-A and Triple-A.”

Toney was joined Wednesday by Columbus State’s Jason Rogers, who went to the Milwaukee Brewers in the 32nd round, and former Russell County player and Auburn signee Bryce Lane, who was selected by the Houston Astros in the 44th round.

Each of the players said Wednesday afternoon they had not decided whether to sign a contract or play college baseball. Toney has signed to play at Gulf Coast Community College next season, Rogers is a rising senior at CSU, and Lane signed to play with Auburn after two seasons at GCCC.

Toney, who had worked out for the Marlins several times and been in close contact with a scout, said he was impressed with the team’s interest in him.

“I really liked that they spent time with me at the workouts, helping me improve,” Toney said. “I went to two or three workouts, and I thought I did pretty good. I guess they liked me, too.”

Toney batted .453 with eight home runs, 24 RBIs, 48 runs and 25 stolen bases for Hardaway in 2010 and was named a first-team Ledger-Enquirer All-Bi-City selection. He said he hopes to make a decision about signing by the end of the week.

Lopez is the son of Reds bullpen coach Juan Lopez and has the middle-infield actions to stay there in pro ball, with soft hands as his best attribute. He has the feel for the game you would expect from someone who has been a bat boy in big league games and hung around major league clubhouses. At 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, he’s built for college ball and is signed with Miami.

Based upon the comments over there, I feel confident saying that the Twins draft could bore you to death… and the Sox/Tigs are in the same neighborhood. The Indian’s made a couple interesting picks in the first two rounds… and that’s it.

I can’t decide if we’re beating anyone, but we’re certainly going younger, which, at least, is a storyline. Anyone else have any thoughts on the drafts of any of our division rivals?

by PopeSoria on Jun 7, 2011 5:49 PM EDT up reply actions   1 recs

In case you don't feel like reading the below 2 pages on Nick Cuckovich: 1.) he's Canadian and thus potentially undeveloped, and 2.) he's fast, a good fielder, and has a "quick bat"
[Attending the] inaugural Big 3 of the West college showcase, which inadvertently served as an extended coming out party for Nick Cuckovich (COO-kuh-vitch), an athletic and powerfully built 6-foot-2, 190-pound infielder from Lambrick Park Secondary School in Victoria, British Columbia. He’s the rare Canadian who bats righthanded.

Cuckovich’s performance reinforces the reputation of British Columbia as Canada’s baseball hotbed. Larry Walker hails from Maple Ridge, while 2006 American League MVP Justin Morneau was born in New Westminster; other BC products include the highest-drafted Canadian ever, Adam Loewen, and Rockies lefthander Jeff Francis. Brewers’ 2008 first-round draft choice Brett Lawrie (whom Cuckovich played against in BC club baseball) prepped at Brookswood SS. Kyle Orr, the Dodgers’ fourth-round pick in 2006, also attended Lambrick Park SS.

As for Cuckovich, he shows ease, smoothness and fluidity in everything he does on the ballfield. For scouts, stiffness is perhaps the ultimate Scarlet Letter for a prospect. Cuckovich’s fielding actions and throwing motion are effortless, as is his swing. At bat, Cuckovich is fundamentally sound, with excellent balance, a compact back swing and a picturesque cut which produces sharp line drives.

Occasionally dabbling as a middle infielder, Cuckovich profiles best as a third baseman. His arm strength, arm accuracy and defensive skills are equal if not superior to every prominent prep third baseman in the 2009 draft class. Cuckovich’s raw power lags behind prospects such as Matt Davidson, Bobby Borchering and Christian Walker. However, it must be noted that Cuckovich will not turn 18 until October, and he figures to develop power as he matures and gains experience.

All players in camp participated in 60 yard dashes, and Cuckovich recorded the fastest 60 time in his 25-player group, clocking a near major league average 7.07 over a slow Blair Field outfield course.

Cuckovich’s secondary school does not field a baseball team, so he will play this spring for the Victoria Black Sox, a club team in British Columbia. No doubt all of the coaches involved in the Big 3 event wanted to keep Cuckovich in Southern California, or perhaps hide him away like an informant in the witness protection program.

From draft blog, last year
Kenneth Swab (35th round, 1064 overall), C – Here’s a change, the Braves take a Junior college catcher, not a Senior catcher. Swab is a highly thought of backstop out of Virginia, though some thought he might go in earlier rounds. His playing time was limited, so he may choose to return for his Senior season and raise his draft stock. The Braves are probably very familiar with him from his time at Young Harris Junior College.

Doesn't the Royals front office deserve a lot of defference with their draft picks?

I mean, every pick is highly speculative. And of course we have very little information. Moore and his people have done well with the draft so far. Sure they can screw up, but I don’t see good reason to be particularly critical of the Roayls draft this year. If they had gone for high-floor, quick-to-the-majors guys, I think that would have been a stupid philosophy. But they are clearly going for what they think is the most talent. They deserve the benefit of the doubt.

You may know me as NYRoyal.

To be fair

I think everybody is giving them that, apart from “DaytonSucks”.

The way I see it is that none of us have seen 99% of these guys play. The Royals have. Ergo, they are better placed than you or I to make decisions (without even considering Dayton’s recent pedigree).

It would be interesting to know what prompts this

Is it “we have inside info that makes us think he might actually sign” or is it “this pick is basically worthless, so we might as well take a huge flier on a HS kid we like”, or something else entirely?

by SagehenMacGyver47 on Jun 7, 2011 7:46 PM EDT up reply actions

Could be a few things

Unless the kid has a legitimate shot at the NFL (and CSU is not exactly known as a NFL factory), he might be willing to give up college football to get paid as a professional in another sport.

The team can also sign the kid and let him play college football during the school year and baseball in the summer in hopes that he chooses baseball down the road. In that situation, even though the player retains football eligibility, I think the player has to give up the football scholarship, so the Royals would have to give him a big enough bonus to pay for school too.

by Gopherballs on Jun 7, 2011 8:12 PM EDT up reply actions

hat is probably not much of an issue

i expected college pitchers

but am very impressed with the HS heavy strategy. The organization has $25+ Million extra after losing Grienke & Meche – and they are investing heavily in the draft. And they’re smart about it. Agents understand the Royals have extra money, so their guys will hold out for more money – thus the Royals counter by drafting heavy on HS talent to alleviate the demands of HS signees. Then add that we are likely to be heavy hitters in the international market this year. Very aggressive strategy by the team and I approve!
