I officially heart the cerebral Greg Billo; Salvador continues his torrid streak
Jeffress is just starting to feel so utterly normal.

Free Greg Billo!
I’m not going to make any idiotic boasts about how much bettter the team would be if I was in charge, but some things would change, and near the top of that list is Greg Billo moving on up. What more can he prove at KC?
Clearly they don't love the guy
They kept in rookie league teams for three years. Now he’s succeeding in low-A at age 20 in a part-time SP role (which might just be a way to get him regular work but keep his innings down). This is a very toolsy organization (which is not necessarily a criticism, especially when we’re talking about young players in the low minors) and I think that they are looking for a player to “prove himself” with his tools before moving up to a higher level. But I don’t think performance is irrelevant to them. Clearly there is something (or things) that they want him to continue to work on in KaCo before moving up to Wilmington.
This reminds me of the serious mancrush I had on Ed Cegarra. In 2008, he had stats very similar to Billo in the Midwest League at age 19. He got promoted to Wilmington at midseason and struggled. Now he’s out of baseball. That doesn’t mean Billo doesn’t have a future, of course.
You may know me as NYRoyal.

I thought Kila said he was gonna quit taking walks?
Oh, and Vin Mazzaro is awful.
I'm waiting for my wave of talent to arrive.

Dude I can't BELIEVE we traded DDJ for Mazzaro
When will Wil crack the top 5?
PEACOCK NOW.
He would pair well with Wood and Adcock.
I'm a 14 year old freshman in high school with a love for all things Royals and Packers.
Dubya
many thanks for these updates. I am one of those guys who usually goes through the box scores on milb.com every night but it’s still nice for those who don’t have the time. The discussions are nice too! Keep up the good work!
I don't think I'm rooting for anyone harder than I'm rooting for Sal Perez
Perez is the only thing standing between this team and starting crappy defense-first washed up veterans for the next decade.
