I hope the Royals give Miner another minor league deal next year
I’m more optimistic about him being a decent backend starter than SOS or Mazzaro. And he should be back to 100% for 2012.
You may know me as NYRoyal.

Yes
Jeffress and his 8.44 BB/9 have earned this promotion

Before anyone flames me
Yes I realize that it’s all developmental crap and he probably isn’t actually that bad, SSS, etc.

Hard to throw straight when you are high.
Go Royals!
You realize it was a demotion?
Seems like no sarc font was necessary
I can't believe Omaha
is still doing so well now that Moustakas and Hosmer are gone. Cain and Gia must really be carrying the load there.
Thoughts
1. Edgar Garcia has looked good since moving to AA, even if it is just 11 innings: 14 K, 2 BB, but also 2 HR. 2 starts but also 1 save.
2. Is Andrew Dobies really 28 years old in AA? While he’s not blowing hitters away, he has shown some decent K numbers in 2009 and 2010 – interesting that he’s left-handed and very old for his level.
3. Antonio Cruz has 10 K in 8 IP, but also 4 BB. Extremely SSS for all these guys, but better good results than bad in the small sample.
Kila's slash for Apr 20 to May 4, 2011, right before he was sent down: .276 / .344 / .448
