If this is true, it's political correctness gone insane
This draftee says the Nationals won't sign him because he made "racist and homophobic remarks" on Twitter. Reflections: 1) Maybe his story is bogus and they won't sign him because they're not interested in him. But in that case why did they draft him? 2) While making racist and homophobic remarks is not the kind of behavior we should promote, it's not exactly a federal crime. The kid says he's sorry, you move on, everybody forgets about it, and he watches his mouth from now on. Besides, Ozzie Guillén makes racist and homophobic remarks all the time and nobody ever does anything. 3) Watch what you say on line. It might come back to haunt you in a way you might never expect.
