Well did that suck and as Jeff kindly put it with visual aids..it was a Yawn fest. As you may or may not be aware I’m making my way to Kansas City tomorrow for the 2nd installment of blog your way to the K. I posted the original article on Friday last week which you can read here.

I have a 5 hour drive ahead of me tomorrow and before I finalize and print out my questions in which I was told I would be able to ask GMDM and Yost prior to the game I thought I give you a consolidated line of questions I'm aiming to get answered.

As ambitious as I am to get all of these questions asked/ answered I am hoping to get some solid information instead of the prototypical "Kansas City Shuffle" remarks. Below is the consolidated list of questions I have thought up as well as your input.

As the farm system develops how do you verify or confirm the year at which to try and bring up as many as possible for a major league push?

What are your plans with the logjam you have with Kila/Clint, Getz/Gia and Cain/Lough?

How active are the Royals on the waiver wire? Have teams pulled back players you have put waivers on?

When do you expect to make a push to bring up Noel Arguelles given the amount of time left on his contract?

What were the asking prices on Melky and Frenchy? And was it because of lowball offers of interested teams in which you decided not to trade either of them?

In regards to the upcoming All Star Game; In Arizona they had a pool out in left/center field. Given the heat index in KC come July will you consider endorsing a bikini night to coincide with opening up the fountain in center field under the Royals Crown Vision?

What plans do you have in the works for the ASG festivities. Example in STL the used the entire city as the landmark not just Busch Stadium. They have mini Arch all over the city that endorsed the ASG. Do you plan on incorporating the Negro Baseball Museum, WWI museum or any other KC icons in the same fashion?

What is the part of the GM’s job that everyday fans least know about?

When you draft players/acquire them and you see them as a part of the future how hard is it to trade/release them?

What attributes do you look for in hiring a manager and must he share your philosophies?

How involved are you in the drafting process? Do you make them picks or do you let the scouting directors make them with you having a veto power?

What is the trade that you nearly had executed but it fell apart last min.. and does that happen often?

When a team makes a transaction, particularly a minor one, does the commissioner’s office send out a league wide memo or are you on your own finding out that say like the Cleveland Indians DFA’d some pitcher for AAA.

As far as the 2012 pitching staff is concerned do you foresee brining up AAA pitchers

Sal Perez whom was recently promoted to AAA has been receiving a lot of hype on his defense but has mediocre reviews on his bat.

What are you impressions of the kid given your catching background?

And do you think he is answer for the catcher position for KC’s future?

Do you think that Batting Coach Kevin Seitzer can have what we call the “ Sietzer affect” on Sal Perez or Moose as he has obviously done with Alcides Escobar. As far as improvement during the At Bats.
