Dayton Moore just answered my question

[Comment From Shelby: ] Hi Dayton. Do you foresee Alex Gordon retaining the lead-off role for next season? He's excelled there this year, but I can't help but wonder that maybe if we discover someone with more speed and similar on-base % skills, moving Alex down in the order a bit could make for one of the best batting orders we've ever seen in KC. Dayton Moore: Great thought. Something we will look at. The most important part of our lineup is the leadoff and 3-4 slots. So we will always look to develop those spots in the batting order. ...... Not a great question, but D-Moor thought it was....hmmph
