the scrambled bullpen is great

yeah, let’s bring in the guy making his debut in a tie game, not Greg Holland. Because we’re saving Holland for the 9th. Because you have to set someone to pitch the 9th who can’t pitch the 8th because Soria is gone and we have to have a set closer and now Brayan Pena is pinch hitting for Giavotella v. Valverde for no logical reason aside from getting Getz in the game if we tie in the 9th

and the end of the Yost presser had him saying that

if he had Mariano Rivera on the Royals, Soria would be the 8th inning guy and Holland would pitch the 7th in response to a question about Soria being available before closing with “Sorry for being a smartass”

Well the division champs did put two of their starters against us tonight

More importantly, I really can’t decide if valverde or pierzynski is more deserving of a swift kick in the nuts

Just a guilty pleasure. Don't hate.

I'm fine with slapping Velveeta while kick AJ in the groin

Then spitting in velveeta’s left eye, then right eye, before swiftly mashing my knuckles into his johnson. I sure as shit hope they create lifetime deuche achievement awards.

I feel like I should be getting all worked up about using Herrera there,

but I just can’t do it. It doesn’t matter.

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the war room!

Flamethrowing RPs are exciting

But the last 4 we’ve had are Orber Moreno, Ambiorix Burgos, Kyle Farnsworth and Jeremy Jeffress. I hope Herrera is better and less injury prone/manslaughtery/scary/high.

He'l Always Have

That one. Does he get a plaque in the HOF?

Almost .500 at home this season.

That’s a major improvement

Almost Inanimate On

The road is the flip side of that with this team’s record.
