First is the #5 Padres and #7 Cubs. The Cubs are 1 game behind the Padres (who are tied with us). This is a BIG series in terms of who picks first.

The second is the #3 Mariners and #9 Oakland. Mariners are fighting the Orioles for the #3 pick. The A’s are in a 3-way tie with the Rockies and Pirates for #9.

Of course, the #5 Royals are playing the #2 Twins. So we’ll probably win 2 of the 3… especially with who the Twins are throwing… we’ll lose the SOS game.
