I am perhaps irrationally enamored of Ackley. I dream af 5 years of Hosmer, Ackley, Escobar and Moustakas. I would definitely give up Wil Myers to get him, along with any pitcher but Montgomery and a lottery ticket. Would Jack Z consider this? Ichiro is showing signs of becoming an offensive liability, and Gutierrez had a terrible year. Smoak will probably push Carp to LF, but they still could use a good young COF. I admit I have no idea about their MiLB situation. Maybe throw in Giavotella or Colon? What would it take?Looking for modest proposals.
