Jonathan Broxton is a younger JJ Putz.
Broxton and Putz both blew up after 4 or 5 years in the majors. Both of them were converted closers. Putz had two really good years, Broxton had one.
Both of them had elbow problems.
After two seasons with elbow problems, Putz came back as a set-up man for the Chicago White Sox.
After two seasons with elbow problems, Broxton is coming back as a set-up man for the Kansas City Royals.
Interesting, huh?
