All I can say is I can't stress my own honesty enough. She started in with the cheers while we're waiting for her nap here in Orlando and it was all I could do to get the camera up and running to catch part of it. 3 years old, and not only knows who to cheer for, but started in with a rendition of our favorite drinking song. No prompting; she just wants to get back into the Royals before the winter even gets started in KC. Heck, it was a soccer game on the tv. YAY FAN FEST!

Gack.
First time posting a video this way and I wished I could have the title of the video be the title of the post. I might edit…
Nick Swisher and Johnny Giavatella deserve treats in the Kaufmann parking lot.
double gack.
It was a hockey game, not a soccer game on the tv. And the reference to the FanFast started while watching the hockey game and having her ask me if we could go see the Royals this week. Well, dear, we WOULD have seen them on Friday, but you know…

I think she sang:
“…if they don’t win it’s the same.”
You have been taking her to Royals games.

Wow
First off, she’s unbelievably cute. Those huge blue eyes are amazing. Second, my daughter is 2 1/2, knows none of the Royals by name and may not have ever even heard “Take me out to the ballpark.” I’m feeling like a complete failure as a baseball father. I have some serious work to do.
You may know me as NYRoyal.
if it helps...
It REALLY helped that the Royals best player (until Gordon last year) was named Billy BUTLER. Great name for a 3 year old to learn, especially daily at breakfast because the fridge magnet was in her line of sight. Heh.

This season, Katie's going to be on a crash course
Everyday is going to be baseball and the Royals. I’ll have her computing wOBA by October.
