OT: Super Bowl
Who ya got? Where/Will you be watching it? I don't know about you guys but a Patriots/Giants matchup is literally the most boring matchup that could have happened. Yawn. Now I don't have to bother finding somebody playing the game and stay up until 3 watching it.

Couldn't be any less interested in this game.
I’ll watch it, because that’s what I do but I won’t be attending any super bowl parties. Baltimore/San Fran? I really would’ve liked to have seen that one. San Fran’s D-line is really impressive.
I'm waiting for my wave of talent to arrive.

Baltimore/San Fransisco would have been awesome.
Also I think that any expansion team in any sport from now on cannot choose red and blue as their colors. We have waaaayyyy too many teams like that anyway.
I haven't watched a Super Bowl since around 2005-2006.
They’re never worth the time spent doing it because it takes the whole night and the commercials are online the next day.
NFL = PARITY
These two small market teams have never reached a Super Bowl before right?

I'll be watching with some friends at their new house,
but more because we haven’t had a chance to hang out in several months, rather than because we’re truly interested in the game.
As for who will win, I’m with everyone else – I don’t care, at all. I’m about 98% sure that I won’t be paying attention to the actual game at all. Hell, the Pro Bowl sounds much more interesting to me right now.
Puppy Bowl rosters have been announced

Guess I'm the only one...
I am effing PUMPED for this one…it is the best matchup I could have hoped for that didn’t involve the Chiefs…I never really liked the Patriots when they were racking up all those Superbowls, but I really started to sway towards them because:
1. The Manning Face
2. The Colts giving up on a perfect season
3. Bill Belichik just being Bill Belichik. No reason to show emotion, just beat the opponent into submission and they will know.
4. The Pats make the right moves. They trade down. They put players in the best position to succeed. They take aging veterans and make them want to play to win. That is what I love: PLAYING TO WIN. Every time. They know they are lucky to be getting tons of money to do something fun, so they give fans their money worth.
5. It amazes me the motivation behind someone like Tom Brady and Michael Jordan. Love the competitiveness.
6. I hate people that complain about the score being run up. The game is 60 minutes, if you didn’t come to play for all 60, then you should be embarrassed.
7. They mow down players that are punked out like Tebow and Flacco. They weren’t going to get punked by those 2 guys.
8. They play to their strengths and hide their weaknesses.
9. They play as a team. A guy gets hurt, and they find someone else to jump in there.
10. I read a lot of Bill Simmons and it endears me to live and die with a team like he does (or use to).
I used to hate the Pats for the way they did Bledsoe, but now it seems so obvious. I really think Eli is over-rated and I wonder if that horseshoe that rests in his colon is ever going to shake loose. I was so disappointed that the Pats didn’t finish off the perfect season. I was so intrigued by how they played that season. Now it’s time for revenge.
I am the one who knocks.
they didnt exactly 'mow down' flacco...
he greatly outplayed brady….oh…and he beat them in NE in the playoffs last year

sure, sure, I know...
but they still beat that Frankie-Goes-To-Hollywood-looking-non-fantasy-point-scoring bum

somehow i managed to make the finals of both of my playoff fantasy leagues…brady/gronk and welker could win me $400 which would be very nice

thats what I like about Brady...
he doesn’t shit the bed…when he does it usually involves EXTREME pressure or some tipped picks…and then they still either win or come close…I admire the consistency…it is so hard to win in the NFL year in and year out and yet the Pats and Steelers do it every. single. year. Amazing

i have started to really enjoy his cockiness...
i have a feeling this game could get very ugly, very fast b/c brady and company wont get beat by this team again….the tebow destruction was rather awesome

THIS...
my sentiments exactly…Brady even said he was gonna try to have the best game of his life…he is probably locked down in a bunker watching game film…
I am pissed that watching the first one in ’08 that a guy needed 7 from Eli to win like $200 bucks in those grid picks with the last digit thing…I ribbed him and ribbed him: “you just need Eli…hahaha…Eli to drive down the field and score…hahahaha…have fun with that”…I was stunned…I try to look at things from a reality perspective and there are always 2 SBs that stick out in my head…that one and the Cardinals/Steelers…
It seemed like the Cardinals stomped the Steelers all 4 quarters of that game and Big Ben somehow pulled it how…the Harrison play is still the most amazing play I think ever in sports history for me…just wow…and I think the Pats would win that SB 9 out of 10 times and just had a slightly off day…and no one ever talks about Moss getting raped with no flags…wasn’t even a Pat fan then and I was stunned by the final to that one

not to mention the 3-10 passes that Eli floated that the Pats just refused to intercept

I'll go one further...
I think the Pats win that SB like 98 out of 100 times played…I mean it’s hypothetical anyway, might as well go all Skip Bayless on that ass…
I can’t believe how pumped I am for this…makes me worry what would actually happen if the Royals made the playoffs

also..
I normally watch the game at Hawgs ’N Dawgs in Columbia, MO (Lake of the Woods exit off of I-70 next to Subway)…one of my best buds and college roommates runs the place…if Ben is working mention that you know Shane or mention the Football Fantasy Ranch and I am sure that you will get a burger or wings or something free and maybe more depending on his mood and how friendly you want to be…for the SB he makes a free buffet with all sorts of heart-stoppers…mainly Appalachian Lasagna (bacon grease then mashed tators then cheese then mashed tators with smokies submerged then corned beef gravy)…OH YEAH…
but this year I will be at my bro’s in Smithville just chilling with family
I am the one who knocks.
Super Bowl Sunday in New England
I’d like to go on vacation, but I’m just going to talk up the Giants for two weeks instead. Patriots fans can’t handle people doubting them, it annoys them to no end. Giants fans have no faith in their team after the first loss of the season.
