Red Sox offer Edwin Jackson $5-$6M 1-year deal?
"Boston, which has offered a one-year deal in the $5-$6 million range according to major league sources, is definitely in the hunt.... Jackson reportedly has at least two multi-year offers. One of them is believed to be from the Baltimore Orioles. Jackson would like to pitch for a contending team. If he's to accept a one-year deal it would likely be in a place where he could prove his worth."
