"I was talking to some scouts and Greinke came up....and I said 'you know who would make a ton of sense for Greinke would be the Royals.' Because they need rotation help desperately, their offense is not that far off. Hosmer needs some help mechanically, but I think he's fixable. You look up and down the lineup - its young but you got a couple of guys who could take steps forward next year. They have Wil Myers ready, whenever they're ready for him and they desperately need rotation help and its not going to happen internally. Why not go after the guy who likes pitching there anyway?"
