First, I apologize for the full blown fanpost on a fanshot worthy issue, but the explanation for why follows.

I loaded Royals Review this morning and found that the site rendered a bit better on my work browser (IE8) than it had at any point since the takeover. This is a good thing. My intention was to post a somewhat conciliatory fanshot acknowledging that the site seemed to be rendering a bit better in IE8. While the other layout issues (like fanpost/shot placement) were still there, at least the new 'prettiness' of the site worked a bit better in IE8, and that's worth mentioning.

The problem? I CAN'T POST FANSHOTS IN IE8. So, yeah. I tried to post a fanshot congratulating the new IE8 compatibility....only to be unable to post a fanshot in IE8. Has anyone actually posted a fanshot in IE8 or is this problem limited to my work computer?

So, now the site works better in IE8 - I can see more of the ads, links to random videos that aren't about the Royals, links to the pick 6, and all kinds of non-content things I don't care about. On the other hand, it is now impossible for me to post fanshots. Ads and external links IN, ability to post fanshots OUT.
