What a beautiful time of the year this is. There is so much we have to be thankful for. I thought I would give all of you a list of the things that I am thankful for.
Yosty - what a tough, gritty manager Ned is. Truly a gift to be thankful for. He manages the game the right way, the way it was meant to be played.
Gordy - Truly a move of genius to switch him to Left Field. I am very thankful we thought of that.
Frenchy - What can I say? The best arm in the major leagues. Saves us at least 70 - 80 runs a season. I am very thankful he is signed for next year.
Hochy - I am thankful we have perhaps the best talent in the American league pitching for us. I get thankful just thinking about the possibility of Luke putting it all together. Wow! What a force he will be.
Santy - No, not Santy Clause, but Ervin Santana. I am thankful we have a guy with a #1 starter's mentality going every 5th day for us. What a gift he will be.
Getzy - I have much gratitude for Chris's grititude.
Moosey - What a great season this guy had. He was able to maintain an aggressive approach at the plate. He also didn't let his offensive successes affect his stellar defense. Count me as very thankful.
Hosy - Best defensive 1st baseman in the league. I am thankful that he has hands softer than a stick of butter left out on a hot summer afternoon.
William Raymond Butler - I am thankful that he was finally able to hit a little better in the clutch this last year. If he could hit a few more home runs next year I would be even more thankful. I am thankful that he is a DH and doesn't cost us the 90 runs a year that he would if he played in the field. In fact, I would be most thankful of all if I could turn William into a starting pitcher.
The rest of the team - My time is limited so I can't name everybody else, but I am thankful for them all. What a bunch of great guys.
2016 - That is the year I project us to make the playoffs. I am thankful even thinking about it. The year The Process is comes to maturity. It's not to early to start being thankful.
So dear fans, remember to count your blessings. There is much to be thankful for.
