I heard on the radio this morning that Tampa Bay has indicated that it will trade at least one starting pitcher this offseason, be it James Shields or David Price, they could even trade Jeremy Hellickson or Matt Moore, and they might deal two pitchers. This same report hypothesized that Ken Rosenthal thinks the Royals could potentially acquire David Price for Alex Gordon, Johnny Giovatella, and Mike Montgomery. I nearly lost control of my car at this point as I would have expected a much more costly deal required for Price. I would take this deal in a heartbeat, and would be willing to substitute any of our "young hitters" in this deal (Hosmer, Moose, Butler, Myers) if that was all it took. Myers would take the most thought, any of the others no thought is required.
